Tweeting Contest

Jeff Pulver’s 140 Characters Conference Los Angeles was Monday and Tuesday at The Music Box in Hollywood. On Tuesday, I led a Writer Panel with The Real Girls web series creator Carmen Elena Mitchell and Scriptchat co-founder Zac Sanford. We met a bunch of truly awesome people, learned a lot, and had a blast.

Gearing up for the conference I was inspired. All these people coming together because of the power of the real-time web.

Therefore, the October Write On! Challenge is a Tweeting Contest: Describe your blog in 140 characters or less. On Twitter it is essential to get the most information out in the least amount of words. This challenge will help you hone that skill.

Business manager and social media enthusiast Rebecca Quinn, who was my guest on the September 22 Dream It, Then Do It Power Lunch, will choose the winners.

Submit your 140 Character Blog Description in the body of an email to Debra@WriteOnOnline.com by Sunday, October 31. Please also include your name, blog title, and  link along with your submission. Winners will be announced on Monday, November 8, on Write On! Online, and in the November Write On! Newsletter.

For details and complete prize information, go to Write On! Online.
